DC to give some readers added plus

Not only do we get FUTURE'S END and TITANS GO, but some lucky readers accross the country will also get to meet DC Comics creators.  The following link has the creators and the shops that they will do the signings.


Sadly many states will not have any signings by DC Creators, but I will not turn down a free comic.

DC comic July 2014 Solcits-- What have we learned

Some Easter Eggs found in July Solicits:

1.  DC is doing Pre-orders for titles connected to Futures End.

2.  Earth 2 gets a new Superman.. Val Zod the Black Kryptoinian takes the reigns as Superman.

3.  Johns and Romita take over the Superman title.

4. Guardian appears to make his new 52 debut in Superboy.  And it looks like it could be Mal Duncan (one would hope),

5. Suicide Squad is back as the "New Suicide Squad".  Deathstroke, Black Manta, and Joker's Daughter join Deadshot and Harleyquinn.

6. Star Spangled War Stories debuts. This is not your father's Star Spangled War Stories.  We have I, Zombie.

7. The online game Infinite Crisis gets its own book.

Those are just initial observations.  We will see how things go from there.

DC has 3 New Weeklies that all End in March 2015

Company that made Weeklies popular to produce 3 in 2014.  They are the following:

Batman: Eternal

52 Futures End

Earth 2 Worlds End

All of these end in March 2015.

Some are already speculating that March 2015 will be the start of a company wide event.

Regardless of what happens, these weeklies will define or redefine what these concepts are.

Once they are finished we should have a clearer idea of what the future, the world of Batman, and Earth 2 look like in the new 52.

The fact that two of the titles have the word END in their name means that what we see now probably is going to be a lot different in the new 52 when those titles complete their runs.

We shall see.

What We Have Learned From the Earth 2 Weekley Announcement

An Earth 2 Picture is worth a thousand words.

Look at the picture posted in the announcement and you will see something interesting things.

Here are my observations:

1. A black Superman. This means that Val Zod ( introduced in the current storyline) becomes the new Superman.

2. Doctor Fate's Helmet is on the ground.  That one is a no brainer because the article says that the helmet will be a part of the story.

3. Green Lantern's ring is flying off his hand.

4. Huntress lifeless in her Grandfather's arms.

5. An exploding planet that doesn't really look like Earth, but we do have Future's Ends storyline that another Earth will be at war with Earth 1 in the future..Could it be Earth 2?

That is all I have on this for now.

Earth 2 gets weekly series in October.

First there was Earth 2, Then World's Finest, and Now Earth 2: World's End.

DC announced a new Weekly devoted to Earth 2 starting in October 2014.

I love the 2 series already devoted to Earth 2.  I think the weekly will give readers a better chance to get to know the multitude of heroes already introduced in Earth 2.

With the restrictions of story telling it makes it hard to get to know all of them.

My hope is that DC gives us more new versions of the Earth 2 Heroes we know and love.

Morrison MultiVerse Tale Set to Launch in August

After many false starts, it is coming.  "Multiversity".  Morrison's Universes spanning tale that gives readers a view of the 52 Universes that came with the New 52.

Let's see how he dazzles us after the long wait.

Two new er Old Titles coming in JUly

Just as quickly as they are Canceled, both Suicide Squad and Teen Titans will be back in July.

Suicide Squad looks good.  That is only if the Cover pic they show in the article is correct.  Deathstroke and Manta would be cool additions to the Squad.

Not so sure that Teen Titans will go anywhere, let alone N.O.W.H.E.R.E.     To be honest I have never been a fan of Harvest and N.O.W.H.E.R.E.  The line up is the same as the last title except for no Kid Flash or Superboy.  Hopefully I am wrong, but I think I am not.

Sad given the history of this team.  I yearn for the types of tales that happened in New Teen Titans.  Sadly that will not probably happen.
