DC November 2014 Solicits
DC is continuing to shake up the books in November.
They are adding yet another Batman book.
Creative teams are changing for many of the books.
They are continuing to bring in new and old into the New 52.
The Unknowns continue their way through BATWOMAN. One new addition to that group seems to be THE DEMON.
The Legion of Super-Heroes are still visiting JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED.
New Gods are still invading the Green Lantern Family in the GREEN LANTERN: GODHEAD story.
Not to mention that All three of the Weeklies are up and running. EARTH 2: WORLD'S END looks to pretty good because it continues to connect to other parts of the New 52.
Well for more info on the solicits Please click on the following link:

Following Marvel's TV to Movie Connection would Limit DC's Audience
I totally disagree with this article's premise. Linking the DC Movies to the DC TV shows would be a bad idea.
Here are my reasons:
1. DC, unlike Marvel is on three different networks at the start of the 2014 to 2015 season: The CW, NBC and Fox. Marvel is on only one: ABC. Disney owns ABC and Marvel.
2. DC has 4 shows and Marvel has 2. The way the networks are set up today, streaming and binge watching are more prevalent.
3. Many people, like myself, wait for the Movies to come to video. Kind of hard to remember which movie connects to what show when you watch movies that way. Marvel is just asking viewers to go out and watch the movie. Sorry in my case it is asking too much.
4. Only 2 of the 4 shows would directly link to the Batman-Superman part of the Universe. Constantine deals with the occult, and Gotham is more of a Batman Origin Story.
5. The two other shows ( I, Zombie and Preacher) that premiere in 2015 are from the Vertigo line of DC comics. Both have no connection to the mainstream DC characters. Preacher airs on yet another network: AMC.
6. Marvel has 2 movies coming out every year. The next DC Movie (Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice) doesn't come out until 2016.
7. When the dust settles at the end of the 14-15 season this is what will exist:
Marvel will have 6 shows and a mini Series on 2 networks- ABC (owned by Disney) and Netflix with has a Distribution Deal with Disney.
DC will have 6 shows on 4 Different Networks. Only one of those having ties to DC's parent TimeWarner-The CW.
So in conclusion. Marvel can tie their TV and movies together because they have deals with the Networks who are airing them. And in reality DC is on more Free TV than Marvel. Only the Preacher series requires you have some kind of Pay TV.
DC has a bigger cross section of an audience. Not everyone who watches Fox or NBC will always watch the CW. Whereas Both of the free tv marvel has are on One Network.
It is pretty easy when you have only one network to deal with to connect to your movies.

New 52 Report Card so Far
I am sorry to inform you Mr and Mrs DC but I have to give your Child a Overall Grade of B
New 52 has tried to excel in the short time it has existed
The following are the good things I have found it New 52's work so far:
The Good
- The Green Lantern Titles
- The Earth 2 Titles
- Forever Evil
- The Justice League Titles
- Batman titles
- Aquaman and the fact he has a mini family of titles.
- Group events (i.e. Green Lantern titles events like the upcoming Green Lantern: Godhead).
- The Dark titles.
- Some of The Edge titles
The Bad
- Too much experimentation (i.e. National Comics and Threshold)
- Too many gimmicks (i.e. 52 different covers of Justice League America #1).
- Assigning groups to different types of groups and then almost letting one of them be canceled out of existence.
- Continuity. Just about everyone I talk to about the New 52 are finding that there are already holes in its continuity.
- Radical changes to old continuity (i.e. Morrison putting the 31st Century WANDERERS in the 21st Century).
- Radically revising new Old 52 heroes on the premise that it will bring new and old readers to the revision..and finding out it did not.
There are countless other ways that the New 52 has failed to reach its potential. They are just too many to mention in this report card.
Areas of Potential Improvement
- The Five year Jump in October. This brings in new creative teams to give titles a different perspective.
- The announced expansion of the Batman titles.
- The still unannounced Event that kicks off in April.
- Quicker course corrections as is evidenced by JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED, TEEN TITANS, BATGIRL, AND THE NEW SUICIDE SQUAD.
- The reintroduction of The Metal Men and The Doom Patrol in Justice League.
- A new Group called the Unknowns is being introduced in Batwoman.
So as I said at the beginning of the Report Card, DC has earned a B. There are many things it has done well, but I still think there is room for improvement.

Spider-Man will never be in a Justice League story: Reasons why
1. The age of cross company cross overs is long gone.
2. DC and Marvel are now both a part of big movie companies.
3. DC and Marvel Movies are battling it out in movie theaters.
4. Disney (who owns Marvel) and TimeWarner (who owns DC) are trying to put their products out and not knowingly endorse another media company's product.
So even though Superman and Spider-Man have met, and even thought JLA and Avengers have met.
Spider-man will never even be consider for membership on the JLA.
Unless, of course, Disney buys DC. Doubtful that will ever happen.
