Arrow Episode connects CW Seed to Arrowverse

VIXEN joins the ARROWVERSE.

I am please to say that Vixen, whose CW SEED series I loved, now joins Arrow.

It is a cool way to open up DC universe to the rest of tv land.

Rebirth Explained By Geoff Johns

DC to Change up line in June..Sorta

DC in its effort regain some lost ground is going back to basics by saving the best titles and giving us a double dose of the titles we like.

In addition they are adding Blue Beetle, Titans, Superwoman, Trnity and title called Super Sons to the ongoing titles

It looks like a move in the right direction.

We will see.  Oh and there are Rebirth specials that predate the actual title launch.

Yes again there are #1st once again.  But hopefully that spike the people who only collect number #1s to spike sales for the rest of us.

Batman: Bad Blood Streaming Now

Being a fan of DC animation has been very fruitful as late.  As yesterday it got to be even more enjoyable.

Just in case you didn't know it, Batman has another entry into the massive collection of great animated movies.

And before I begin my basic review; yes I am biased.

BATMAN: BAD BLOOD is by far one the best movies I have seen. Even my wife, who normally doesn't like comic movies, loved every part of the movie.  She even went as far as tell her friends who called her during the movie, that she had to call them back.

This original story keeps your interest from the beginning to the credits.

So in conclusion I recommend you Stream, rent, or by this movie because it is great entertainment and should not be missed.

Secret Six cast Interesting, but you need a score card to remember them.

I have love the Secret Six since the 1980s.

I loved them even more when Gail Simone made the members Supervillians.

The problem lately is that I need a score card for members like Porcelain because, unlike the earlier version, their names do not appear in the dialogue as much.  And Recently the book has added many of the members of the Pre-New 52 team. Members I do remember.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the book.  It just makes it more difficult to follow it when you are trying to figure out the the name and powers in a story.

Their have been some cool things going on in the book.  They include the following:

1. Mr Big Shot being revealed as Elongated Man.
2. The addition of members of the previous book.
3. Catman's new costume.
4. The wide open approach to the book.

I love this book and I hope it does not cut the run like the previous one did.

If you want to know more about the book, look at the link below.

This one Trailer made me very interested in March.

Freedom Fighters Fit Best in a Nazi Earth

copyright DC Comics, 1977,

I have been of a fan of the Freedom Fighters since I first saw them in the 1970's in the pages of  Justice League. (http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Justice_League_of_America_Vol_1_107  http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Justice_League_of_America_Vol_1_108) .

I admit I did like the series that came after, but I secretly wanted to see world of WW2 that was presented in the pages of Justice League.

Freedom Fighters has been in 6 titles and guest starred in Batman: Brave and the Bold, but a sustained ongoing title hasn't taken.

Justice Society, however, has thrived because it found a new niche as Earth 2.  My thought is that straying away from the Nazi occupied Earth has taken away the originality of the team.  Even the recent PLASTIC MAN AND THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS failed to truly touch upon the coolness of what used to be Quality Comics.

I propose that DC do what it did with ALL STAR SQUADRON: create an Earth with version of Earth where versions of Fawcett, Quality, Charlton, Quality, and possibly Milestone heroes battle to save an occupied Earth.

Fawcett superheros, like the Quality heroes, have a better fit with a WW2 world. Spy Smasher, Minute Man, and Mr. Scarlet could be a great fit for an embattled world.

I would be cool to see Freedom Fighters in a new light.

Go forth Do well  Shane.

The Joker's 1995 Series was ahead of its time.

The joke was on DC in 1975. A ground breaking Series was too short lived, but it had some very interesting issues.

The Joker basked in the limelight for 9 issues. He matched wits from The Scarecrow, and The Creeper to Sherlock Holmes.

I found it entertaining, but at that time villain books didn't last very long.

The series has been collected into a Graphic Novel called "The Joker, Clown Prince of Crime" http://www.dccomics.com/graphic-novels/the-joker-the-clown-prince-of-crime.

For more detailed info about the series, go to the following link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Joker_(comic_book)

The series is a fun read for most DC fans, and more so for Joker Fans.

All Star Squadron Remebered

Roy Thomas did great things for both DC and Marvel.  One of the best things he did was to created The All-Star Squadron.  It took all the the heroes who were published in the Golden age and put them on one team.

The result was a title that help to spin off other titles and create better versions some heroes.

Spiderman and other Characters created by Steve Ditko

Spider-Man is the most famous of Steve Ditko's Creations, but he also has had an impact on the DC Universe as well. Here are a list of the DC Heroes that Steve Ditko has created or co- created.
